
Fadwa Attia: Contemporary Egyptian Painter
Fadwa Attia is an accomplished Egyptian visual artist, interior designer, photographer, poet, art critic, and cultural leader. A member of the Syndicate of Applied Arts Designers and Cairo Atelier for Writers and Artists, she has built an outstanding career that combines artistic creation, education, and cultural development.
Her work has been exhibited extensively in Egypt and internationally, with participation in more than fifty group exhibitions and ten solo exhibitions across countries including Sweden, Finland, Mexico, Peru, Argentina, Italy, India, South Korea, Venezuela, and Panama. She has received numerous honors, including the Creative Woman Award from the Egyptian Ministry of Culture (2019) and the title of “Miss Art of Egypt” for 2024 and 2025.

Beyond her artistic practice, Fadwa is a respected art critic, cultural organizer, and educator who has led workshops, served on juries, and directed international art forums. She is also the founder of the Fadwa Attia Art and Life Initiative, dedicated to promoting creativity, culture, and artistic education.
Through her multidisciplinary work, Fadwa Attia continues to inspire audiences by bridging visual arts, literature, theatre, and community engagement, making her a significant voice in contemporary Egyptian art.
