International poet, painter, and sculptor Ivonne Sánchez-Barea (USA/Spain/Colombia), born in New York in 1955, has built a profoundly solid artistic and literary career, with studies in the United States, Colombia, Paris, and Madrid.

Her work transcends borders: she is Vice President of the Gabriel Galloni International Prize for Art and Poetry (Spain 2026) and Vice President for Europe of FUNEMA International since 2017. Founder of cultural organizations and an active member of academies and scientific committees in Europe and the Americas, her voice has resonated in universities, forums, and international poetry festivals in the Americas, Canada, Europe, and North Africa.

With more than 80 published books, her work has been translated into ten languages and included in numerous international anthologies. She has received prestigious awards between 2021 and 2026, including recognitions such as Books for Peace, POETAE INSIGNIS, the Macondo National Literature Prize for Literary Innovation, and numerous international awards in Italy and Spain.
